Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified mental health professional to join our team at Bay Area Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient and family/caregiver needs with respect to patient's psychosocial health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides individual, family, and/or group therapy
  • Creates and supervises an interdisciplinary rehabilitation plan
  • Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
  • Strong group skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of cognitive behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy theories, principles, and practices

Requirements:

  • Meets the criteria for practicing as a Qualified Mental Health Professional in the state of Oregon
  • Able to read, write legibly, and converse effectively in the English language
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) SAFE class or organization approved workplace violence training

Working Conditions:

  • Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
  • Needs adequate hearing and visual acuity, including adequate color vision
  • Requires fine motor skills, adequate eye-hand coordination, and ability to grasp and handle objects
