Mental Health Specialist

Job Summary:
A qualified mental health professional is sought by Bay Area Hospital to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment and treatment planning skills, with the ability to implement and evaluate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient and family/caregiver needs with respect to psychosocial health
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans
- Provide group and individual therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in psychology, social work, or related field
- Registration as a mental health professional in the state of Oregon
- At least three years of experience in psychiatric patient care
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Therapeutic Recreational Specialist certification
- SAFE class or organization-approved workplace violence training
