About this Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Business Accountability Specialist to join the Product Risk & Governance team as part of Advice & Planning. This role is a critical component of our organization's risk management framework, and we are looking for a talented individual to help us develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise senior leadership on the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk appetite.
  • Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of complex risks, leveraging expertise in risk governance, business operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to Business Accountability Consultants and Specialists on risk program implementation, ensuring scalability and completeness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process management.
  • Strong understanding of risk governance principles, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with risk management software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in risk governance, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Knowledge of the Wells Fargo Risk Framework and risk governance functions across the Enterprise.
  • Experience working with SHRP and financial services industry knowledge.
