Job Summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a skilled Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Field Service Team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing Flowserve's pumps and equipment for our customers in various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site repairs and maintenance of Flowserve equipment, including pumps and other mechanical systems.
  • Assess and diagnose mechanical problems, and take corrective action to resolve issues promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with customers' personnel to ensure successful equipment installation and start-up.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Provide training and support to customers on the proper operation and maintenance of Flowserve products.
  • Collaborate with Flowserve Sales Engineers to ensure a coordinated approach to serving our customers.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical field service, with a focus on pump repair and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial applications and operations of pumps.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead work crews as needed.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively, with frequent overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Field machining and welding experience.
  • Knowledge of API 610 and 686 standards.
  • Experience as a foreman or lead hand during large turnarounds.
