KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Performance:
- Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product knowledge with customers; assists in merchandise selection or sourcing based on customer preferences.
- Stays informed about current promotions and sales; upholds pricing and visual merchandising standards.
- Ensures compliance with merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other tasks as assigned by Management.
- Engages in visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store setups and area maintenance.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Exemplifies and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
- Addresses customer inquiries and resolves concerns promptly.
- Facilitates a quick and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, coupon usage, returns, exchanges, security protocols, and other operational procedures.
- Encourages purchasing decisions at the register and meets add-on sales targets, including gift card promotions.
- Enrolls clients in the rewards program.
- Cultivates and maintains a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
- Remains knowledgeable about current product offerings and fit options available in-store and online.
- Maintains ongoing communication with clients through a customer relationship management system.
Operational Support:
- Assists in replenishment efforts to ensure the store remains well-stocked and inviting.
- Aids in locating merchandise for customers.
- Participates in visual merchandising tasks, including floor layouts, window displays, and signage placement as directed.
- Contributes to the cleanliness and organization of the boutique.
Team Collaboration and Development:
- Fosters an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Actively seeks opportunities for personal growth and welcomes constructive feedback.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to company-provided technology.
- Excellent organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Regular attendance is crucial to meet operational needs. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of the shift).
- Regular climbing (34%-66% of the shift).
