Position Overview

The primary role of the Member Service Representative is to execute financial transactions for TAPCO Credit Union members with precision and adherence to established protocols. This position involves welcoming members warmly and ensuring they receive outstanding service through efficient and accurate transaction processing. Additionally, the representative will actively promote TAPCO's offerings to enhance member engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome members to the credit union, providing prompt and professional service.
  • Assist members with various financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Manage cash and checks within specified limits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Reconcile cash drawers at the end of each day and address any discrepancies.
  • Process card requests and manage check orders.
  • Perform drive-up and night drop functions as assigned.
  • Engage in outbound communication to foster member relationships.
  • Stay informed about all credit union products and services.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Promote and explain TAPCO's services and products to members.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws relevant to job functions.
  • Exhibit a high standard of member service and professionalism.
  • Maintain reliable transportation to the workplace.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of cash handling experience.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing job responsibilities.

Working Conditions

  • Office environment.
  • Onsite presence is required.
  • Frequent use of wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Potential for temporary or permanent assignment at different branches.

Compensation

Salary Range: $20.00 - $23.20
