Job Title: Field Technology Manager

DPR Construction is seeking a highly skilled Field Technology Manager to join our team in Raleigh. As a key member of our Business Unit, you will be responsible for implementing and executing Field Technology Services across the Business Unit, supporting our work in Site & Building Surveys/Control, Existing Condition Surveys, Quality Control, and layout of Self-Perform work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and oversee the implementation and execution of Field Technology Services across the Business Unit.
  • Support the planning of project resourcing and budgeting of Field Technology Services.
  • Lead the implementation and support of technical best practices of DPR's Field Technology Services.
  • Build and manage a team of Field Technology professionals for the local business unit.
  • Work collaboratively with various work groups, including Business Unit leadership, Self-Perform Work, VDC, OES, Preconstruction, Marketing, and Project Operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of construction technologies hands-on experience in the AEC industry.
  • Advanced robotic total station knowledge and 5+ years of implementation experience in construction industry.
  • 3D scanning hardware and software knowledge with 5+ years of implementation experience in construction industry.
  • Advanced knowledge across Hexagon/Leica, Trimble, Topcon, Carlson, and Faro hardware and software platforms.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software tools and teach others.
  • Total Station and/or Laser Scan course certification(s).
  • Part 107 Commercial sUAS (drone) Pilot Certification.
  • CMiC or equivalent financial software knowledge a plus.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Software platforms (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience building and leading teams.
  • Ability to manage, train and develop new and existing team members.
Education:
  • Minimum 7+ years' relevant technical experience.
  • Associates or Bachelors' Degree in Surveying, construction management, engineering, architecture or similar field.
