Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our team at the University of Rochester. As a member of our mental health department, you will work closely with patients and their families to deliver high-quality care and support.

About the Role

  • Deliver healthcare services to patients and their families in accordance with interdisciplinary treatment plans.
  • Implement various types of psychiatric treatment plans for groups of patients, including group interventions.
  • Collaborate with patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to deliver quality services.

Requirements

  • AAS degree in a Psychology or Sociology field, and 2-3 years recent Psychiatric Technician experience or Bachelor's degree in related field, or minimum two years of RN Nursing School; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's in Human Services preferred.
