Location: South Salem, NY

Monte Nido & Affiliates offers a specialized residential treatment program for adolescents facing challenges related to eating disorders such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Exercise Addiction.

Our mission is to support young individuals and their families throughout the recovery journey, equipping them with the necessary tools to overcome the hurdles posed by eating disorders. We emphasize empathy, education, and partnership with families to foster a holistic recovery process.

We are currently seeking a Registered Dietitian to become an integral part of our clinical and leadership teams. This role is essential in collaborating with various disciplines to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients. The position entails a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday.

Our nutrition programming is rooted in fundamental principles that prioritize health, liberation from disordered eating behaviors, and a gradual journey towards self-trust and intuitive eating. Clients progress through stages of repairing their relationship with food, ultimately leading to a fulfilling and recovered life.

Compensation: $62,000-$72,000/YR

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee meal preparation for clients and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Ensure all nutritional services comply with established standards and regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and monitor clients' dietary intake.
  • Contribute to the development of the Master Treatment Plan as part of the treatment team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting; experience in a psychiatric environment is preferred.
  • Must possess the appropriate Registered Dietitian credential.
  • CPR/BLS certification required prior to employment.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Commitment to excellence in client care.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
