Clinical Supervisor RN

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor RN to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As a Clinical Supervisor RN, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, assessing current patient care situations, priorities, and needs. You will also be responsible for revising the plan of care as indicated by the patient's response to treatment and evaluating the overall plan daily for effectiveness.
Responsibilities- Provides direct and indirect patient care as necessary, assessing current patient care situations, priorities, and needs.
- Revises the plan of care as indicated by the patient's response to treatment and evaluates the overall plan daily for effectiveness.
- Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policy related to emergency preparedness, fire, hazardous materials, and waste, medical equipment, safety, security, and utilities.
- Utilizes standard precautions and complies with OSHA standards pursuant to blood-borne pathogen, tuberculosis, and hazardous material and waste.
- Complies with infection control policies, including isolation precautions and consistent hand hygiene.
- Takes an active role in performance improvement teams that may include NPSG, HCAHPS, and core measures or other process improvement activities.
- Attends 75% of department staff meetings.
- Current NV State Registered Nurse License.
- Current BLS.
- Current ACLS (may be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- PALS certification may be required for specific departments (or must be able to obtain within six months).
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required or enrolled in an accredited program within one year of employment or transfer into supervisory role.
- A minimum of 3 years recent clinical nursing experience required.
- Previous clinical supervisor experience preferred.
- Specialty certification preferred.
