Legal Operations Manager

At Klinedinst PC, we are seeking a highly organized and professional Legal Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will oversee the operations of our Irvine and Los Angeles offices, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the hiring, training, and development of staff in both offices, including recruiting, supervising, and mentoring legal support staff.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration among staff and management.
- Develop and implement operational management systems, processes, and best practices to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct annual staff evaluations, prepare performance reviews, and make recommendations for salary adjustments and bonuses.
- Stay up-to-date on changing laws and regulations concerning employment in California, ensuring compliance and implementing necessary changes.
- Approve PTO, overtime, and make-up time, as well as coordinate vacations and coverage for staff in both offices.
- Coordinate the administration of leaves of absence, workplace injuries, and investigations with the Director of Human Resources.
- Provide staff counseling and administer discipline, in coordination with the Director of Human Resources, Chief Operating Officer, and/or Managing Shareholder(s).
- Oversee and manage legal assistant/paralegal workflow, coordinate timekeeper/legal assistant assignments, and assess litigation support needs.
- Participate in the evaluation of litigation support programs, coordinate training, and attend monthly attorney meetings.
- Promote the firm's benefit programs, collaborate with Payroll and Human Resources, and provide answers to questions.
- Work collaboratively with all Management Team members to ensure successful firm campaigns, resolve conflicts, and act as a liaison between teams.
- Mentor Operations Assistants in maintaining office space, equipment, and supplies, and ensure the firm is perceived as a favorable tenant.
