Position Information:
The Clinical Secretary provides administrative support to patients, families, and professional staff to ensure efficient customer-oriented service delivery. This role actively supports WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model by delivering patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The key concepts of PFCC are: Dignity and Respect, Information Sharing, Participation, and Collaboration. The Clinical Secretary understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, vision, values, and aspirational goals.
Requirements:
1 year of healthcare experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The Nurse Aide I certification is also required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Clinical Secretary will work nights, with every other weekend requirement and no call shifts.
