Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage guest registration and check-out processes, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the front desk, guests, and hotel personnel.
  • Uphold exceptional customer service standards, with a commitment to excellence.
  • Address inquiries regarding hotel policies, services, and guest requests or complaints.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of hotel operations, including room classifications, pricing, packages, and event spaces.
  • Support front desk organization and systems to maintain staff efficiency.
  • Complete necessary documentation for front desk personnel.
  • Guide and supervise front desk agents in their daily activities.
  • Train staff on effective sales techniques, customer service practices, and hotel offerings.
  • Drive sales initiatives and manage budgetary considerations through strategic scheduling.
  • Provide transportation for guests as needed.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to foster communication and collaboration.

Additional Duties:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions.
  • Report unsafe conditions to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Build positive relationships with all hotel departments.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel front desk operations preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of front office functions and the ability to lead and organize staff effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and engaging with guests and team members.
  • Professional appearance and prior experience with cash handling are required.
  • Able to multitask and perform well under pressure.
  • Capable of following both verbal and written instructions.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Physical Requirements:

3-6 hours: Standing/Walking

1-3 hours: Sitting, Crouching/Bending/Stooping, Reaching, Grasping

Up to 1 hour: Pushing/Pulling, Lifting/Carrying (up to 50 lbs.), Climbing Stairs
