As an Investment Risk Management Specialist within PNC's Market Risk division, you will play a crucial role in our operations.

This role is primarily situated within PNC's operational regions. Responsibilities necessitate regular presence in the office or field, with some tasks potentially performed remotely at the discretion of management.

A Master's degree in Computational Finance, Quantitative Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics, accompanied by one year of relevant experience in the financial sector focusing on market risk management, is essential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversees market and liquidity risk, implementing systems and processes to mitigate risks associated with market fluctuations.
  • Conducts research and assesses best practices in market and liquidity risk for the investment sector and related business functions; ensures adherence to risk management policies, methodologies, and guidelines.
  • Creates technology-driven tools and performs data analysis to evaluate, measure, and manage market and derivatives risks.
  • Establishes monitoring systems to ensure compliance with market and liquidity risk thresholds and constraints, collaborating with other departments to clarify risk management policies.
  • Formulates action plans to address issues and re-engineers processes to enhance the management, measurement, and monitoring of market and derivatives risks.
