POSITION OVERVIEW
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the Asset Protection initiatives within our most significant and intricate markets. Your leadership will encompass directing, mentoring, and training Asset Protection Regional Managers and Market Investigators, alongside district and store management, in the formulation, execution, and oversight of strategies aimed at safeguarding company assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the operations team to achieve shrink reduction targets in your designated area.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and guide a team of Asset Protection specialists.
  • Support operations in developing data-driven strategies for high shrink locations.
  • Oversee, evaluate, and respond to statistical data concerning inventory or cash discrepancies.
  • Lead investigations into internal and external theft incidents.
  • Manage inquiries related to robberies, burglaries, and other serious offenses.
  • Conduct audits and store assessments to ensure progress and compliance.
  • Stay informed about Asset Protection trends, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with law enforcement and Organized Retail Crime associations.
  • Ensure timely and precise reporting to corporate Asset Protection regarding company loss events.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in multi-unit Retail Asset Protection or Loss Prevention.
  • Exceptional written, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in analytical thinking and problem-solving, with a knack for innovative solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional overnight travel.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Dollar Tree | Family Dollar offers competitive compensation for our Senior Regional Loss Prevention Managers, with potential bonuses based on performance metrics. The salary range for this position is between $125,000 and $130,000, contingent upon experience.
