Job Overview: The Scheduler/Coordinator is responsible for arranging appointments and procedures for both inpatient and outpatient services.

Key Qualifications: A high school diploma is required. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of relevant scheduling experience. This role includes educating patients about pre-procedure requirements, which may encompass laboratory tests, imaging studies, health assessments, dietary instructions, and any other pertinent details. Additionally, the Scheduler/Coordinator may need to communicate instructions to patients' families as required. The position involves following up to ensure that patients have fulfilled all necessary pre-procedure criteria. Responsibilities also include maintaining and updating any changes in preparations and procedures, as well as sending all relevant documentation to ensure timely scheduling of procedures and surgeries.
