Job Summary: The Scheduler/Coordinator plays a critical role in scheduling appointments and procedures for both in-patient and out-patient services. This position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of three years of previous scheduling experience. The Scheduler/Coordinator is responsible for patient education, ensuring that patients meet all necessary pre-procedure requirements, such as labs, imaging studies, and pre-procedure instructions. This role also involves maintaining and updating pre-procedure requirements and sending documentation to the hospital or other offices to accurately schedule procedures and surgeries in a timely manner.
