Job Overview

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Program Specialist to support the Central American Minors (CAM) Hotline. This role will play a critical part in providing information and assistance to families seeking help with the CAM program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide information and support to families seeking assistance with the CAM program
  • Screen individuals for eligibility and provide guidance on the application process
  • Assess needs and refer to relevant services
  • Identify trends in processing and report to the team
  • Offer Know Your Rights information and arrival orientation
  • Provide administrative support to the team

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Previous experience in resettlement or immigration field is a plus

Work Environment

  • Remote work with occasional weekend and evening hours
