HiFyve is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of equipment needs prior to scheduled shutdowns and develop comprehensive plans to ensure timely completion.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Develop project scheduling charts to manage work timelines and coordinate internal and external labor to meet required work completion.
  • Work Order Management: Assign, distribute, and collect completed work orders from labor teams, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up on completed work.
  • CMMS Management: Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), generating and distributing work orders for routine maintenance activities.
  • Reporting and Communication: Analyze work order progress, communicate status to stakeholders, and generate maintenance Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Plan and schedule preventive maintenance for critical systems, including HVAC, lighting, compressors, generators, and boilers.
  • Spare Parts Management: Coordinate spare parts inventory and manage scheduled parts for routine maintenance.
  • Work Instructions and Checklists: Create and maintain critical work instructions and checklists for the department.
  • Purchasing and Requisitions: Initiate the purchasing process for the maintenance department and enter requisitions for labor or parts into the system before work completion.
  • Budgeting and Spend Tracking: Monitor project work to ensure accurate capture of maintenance spend for budgeting purposes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Technology, or relevant maintenance work experience is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, proficiency in time management, priority setting, and decision-making.
  • Preferred Skills: Knowledge of 2D CAD design.
