Position Overview:

As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will act as a reliable consultant for our clients seeking efficient and trustworthy financial solutions. In this role, you will enhance your leadership capabilities by supporting the Store Manager in managing accounts, engaging with customers, and overseeing risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, mentor, and oversee Customer Service Representatives to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Evaluate financial transactions, process loan and pawn applications, and manage check cashing transactions accurately.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships through daily inbound and outbound call campaigns aimed at increasing business and enhancing brand loyalty.
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols during opening and closing procedures, including managing cash drawers and vaults.
  • Supervise account management and recovery efforts while prioritizing customer service to minimize losses and charge-offs.
  • Conduct regular audits and compile financial reports to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the store, addressing maintenance needs as necessary.
  • Adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, effectively managing multiple tasks to meet performance standards.
  • Commit to a full-time schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail is necessary.
  • A minimum of three months in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Background checks are required, subject to applicable laws.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a leadership role within a sales or customer service environment.
  • Management experience in retail, financial services, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with check cashing and document verification processes.
  • Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish are advantageous.
