Position Overview:
As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will act as a reliable resource for our clientele seeking efficient and trustworthy financial solutions. In this role, you will enhance your leadership capabilities by collaborating with the Store Manager on account oversight, customer engagement, and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training, mentorship, and supervision to Customer Service Team Members to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
  • Evaluate financial transaction risks, process loan and pawn applications, and manage check cashing operations accurately.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships while executing daily inbound and outbound call initiatives to drive new business, sustain store profitability, and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Implement security measures and adhere to proper opening and closing protocols, including vault and cash drawer management.
  • Oversee account management and recovery strategies, maintaining a customer-centric approach to mitigate losses and manage charge-off accounts.
  • Ensure a compliant work environment by upholding company policies and relevant local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct store audits and compile financial reports to verify staff compliance.
  • Maintain the aesthetic and cleanliness of the store, addressing facility needs and coordinating maintenance services.
  • Adapt efficiently to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, managing multiple tasks to meet both individual and team performance objectives.
  • Commit to a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail is necessary.
  • At least three months of supervisory or relevant leadership experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in phone systems, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A background check is mandatory (subject to applicable law).
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership in a sales or customer service environment.
  • Management experience in retail, convenience, grocery, financial services, or related fields.
  • Experience with check cashing, document verification, and money order processing is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain roles.
