Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist at Jars Cannabis. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify customer age requirements and register new customers in our POS system
  • Check customer purchasing allotments and promote our brand and products
  • Welcome guests and customers with a positive and friendly demeanor
  • Assist with curbside and online orders, and answer phone calls with professional etiquette
  • Provide customers with information about products, store hours, and daily specials
  • Emphasize our loyalty program, campaigns, and events
  • Perform opening, mid-day, and closing tasks, and maintain the reception area
  • Support store management in an administrative capacity
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or sales environment
  • 1 year of administrative and/or front desk experience
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required
Work Environment
  • Requires some standing and bending, with the ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Work will be performed in a fast-paced retail cannabis dispensary environment
  • Involves frequent contact with patients and staff
  • Will require working varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
