**Overview:**

The University of Michigan Health System is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our Ambulatory Care Services team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our clinical teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support lab tracking, injections, procedures, patient care, form completion, clinic and infusion preparation, and delegated patient calls
  • Interpret diagnostic test instructions, assist with procedures, and obtain diagnostic results from our clinical information system
  • Manage prescription renewals and authorizations with delegation protocols

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing
  • Current LPN licensure to practice nursing in Michigan
  • Three (3) years or more of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic/ambulatory care setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an ambulatory care clinic setting
  • Experience with an electronic medical record
  • Proficiency with computer skills, to include keyboarding
  • Experience in working with a heme/onc patient population

Benefits:
