Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at the University of Michigan. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in the recovery of patients following anesthesia administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients as they emerge from anesthesia, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the recovery process.
- Monitor patients for any signs of distress or complications, and take prompt action to address any concerns.
- Administer medications accurately and document observations in the patient's medical record.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
- Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage effective on your first day.

40 hours/week, evenings, 10-hour shifts, variable shift start times, may include scheduled weekend shifts.
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience.
