Position Overview:

The Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the Manager with the daily activities of the establishment. This includes overseeing both back-of-house (BOH) and front-of-house (FOH) operations, including staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation. The Supervisor ensures compliance with all operational policies and procedures, maintains food quality and presentation standards, and upholds safety and sanitation protocols. A key aspect of this role is to deliver exceptional customer service while effectively managing the workforce and resources to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
  • Conduct regular pre-shift and post-shift meetings to communicate important updates to staff.
  • Oversee the completion of tasks assigned to supervisors and employees, ensuring timely execution.
  • Manage inventory by recording deliveries and reconciling with purchase orders.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage items are properly stocked and displayed, adhering to safety standards.
  • Prepare daily reports to reflect compliance with operational procedures.
  • Propose and implement strategies to enhance revenue generation.

  • Document any incidents or accidents following established reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular menu briefings and training sessions with staff.
  • Collaborate closely with the Manager to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain a high standard of service for all customers, addressing any complaints professionally.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
  • Maintain accountability for labor costs, budgets, and operational projections.
  • Ensure adherence to food and beverage cost standards.
  • Oversee general maintenance and cleanliness of the establishment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Business, or Culinary Arts.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a full-service environment.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies and their impact on business performance.
  • Experience in guest relations and conflict resolution.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
