Job Summary:

SpaceX is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dining Room Attendant to join our team. As a Dining Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of all on-site dining areas, coordinating catering requests for meetings, and overseeing the maintenance of all beverage stations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the organization and cleanliness of all on-site dining areas: Maintain a clean and organized environment for our employees and guests.
  • Coordinate and execute catering requests for meetings: Work with our catering team to ensure seamless execution of catering requests.
  • Oversee maintenance of all beverage stations: Ensure that all beverage stations are well-stocked and maintained.
  • Act as point of contact for vendors and technicians: Communicate effectively with vendors and technicians to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Adjust staffing according to the days situation at hand: Adapt to changing circumstances and adjust staffing levels as needed.
  • Exercise strong customer service and communication skills: Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with employees and guests.

Qualifications:

  • A valid ServSafe or state food handler's card: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • High school diploma or GED required: Meet the minimum educational requirement.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated excellence in guest service skills: Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Able to withstand frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of objects up to 25 lbs: Meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Strong knowledge of styles of service: Familiarity with various service styles, including casual dining, fine dining, buffet, and ala carte.
  • Manager edition of the ServSafe certification: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Self-motivated and works well with others: Collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills: Communicate effectively with employees and guests.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment: Adapt to changing circumstances and take initiative when needed.
  • Comfortable working in high volume output environment: Meet the demands of a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Frequent bending and stooping: Meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Ability to work in a continuously-standing position for four or more hours: Meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Physically capable of performing manual labor tasks (lifting up to 25 lbs): Meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Ability to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed: Meet the demands of a fast-paced environment.

ITAR Requirements:

  • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations: Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations.
