Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team at New American Funding. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating and processing mortgage loans for residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customers' financial situations and provide personalized loan solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential borrowers to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Lock loans at point of sale, request initial documents from customers, and submit loan packages to production staff.
  • Structure and price loans accurately to meet customer needs and company goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of full-time loan origination experience, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Complete knowledge of conventional and government loan programs (purchase and refinance).
  • Current TX DBO and NMLS license.
  • Four or more additional state NMLS licenses preferred.
