Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Traffic Coordinator to join our team at Scanlan Int'l. The successful candidate will be responsible for pulling and packaging orders, restocking inventory, running the Manifest System, and assisting with various duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pull, Test, Inspect and Package Orders:
    • Pull orders according to packing lists generated from Customer Service, following appropriate work instructions.
    • Work closely with Customer Service to ensure timely turnaround of all orders.
    • Keep areas neat and orderly.
  • Run Manifest System:
    • Running the Manifest System requires concentration, at a quick pace, without error to ensure the customer receives the order correctly.
  • Filing Literature and Sample Requests:
    • Filling Literature and Sample requests as provided by Customer Service, Sales, or Marketing, then running through the postage/UPS machine to prepare for delivery.
    • Request stock for samples via email as per work instruction.
  • Restocking Shipping/Mailing Supplies as Needed:
    • Includes daily restocking of brochures as we run out, creating new catalogs as we get low, and making new shipping boxes as supply demands.
  • Assist with Mail Pickup and Delivery:
    • Pick up mail at the Post Office, as a backup for Facilities/Operations.
    • Deliver mail in the office, as a backup for Traffic Area Mailing Assistant.
    • Drop off mail at post office in the evening.
  • Assist in Cleaning Shipping/Mailing Department:
    • Assist in cleaning Shipping/Mailing Department as needed, especially around the Literature and Sample counter, picking up all paper clips, pens, miscellaneous paper, etc. to keep area as neat as possible.
  • Assist in Warehouse/Receiving Department:
    • Complete receiving task as outlined in work instruction, logging all details as appropriate with a timely turnaround including moving single use items to stock following FIFO (first in first out) Guidelines.
    • Keep areas neat and orderly.
  • Opening and Closing Duties:
    • Open up SGLC, disarm alarm, walk around and turn on lights (opening SGLC).
    • Walk around to check that all doors are closed, and lights are turned off (closing SGLC).
    • Make sure all associates are out of the building before setting alarm. If associates remain (HR) make sure someone knows the procedure for arming the building (closing SGLC).
