Position Overview
The Human Resources Services Branch (HRSB) within the Department of Social Services is dedicated to supporting the organization's objectives through effective audit compliance. We recognize that a motivated and satisfied workforce is essential for our success and are committed to fostering an inclusive and engaged environment.
Key Responsibilities
We are in search of a proficient Associate Personnel Analyst (APA) or a Staff Services Analyst (SSA) eager to contribute their expertise. The selected candidate will play a crucial role as a subject matter expert in audit compliance, conducting approximately 40 diverse Payroll Unit audits monthly. These audits will cover various topics, including:
- Overtime
- Bereavement Leave
- Docking Procedures
- Pay Differentials
- Salary Determinations
- Retirement Processes
- Timekeeping
- Alternate Ranges
Findings from these audits will be reported to the Payroll Supervisory Team.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a solid background in State Service Transactions and Payroll, along with proficiency in essential computer applications such as SCO Systems, MS Windows, Word, and Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills are imperative.
