The successful candidate will be responsible for leading client engagements, coordinating the planning process, and contributing to the firm's overall growth. They will also be expected to maintain positive client relationships, collect and analyze data, and identify and research accounting issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagements and assigned staff through the planning, fieldwork, and completion stages of the audit
  • Take responsibility for engagement administration, including coordinating the planning process and engagement completion
  • Maintain positive client relationships and communicate effectively with clients, managers, and co-workers
  • Collect and analyze data, identify and research accounting issues, and contribute to the firm's overall growth
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of recent and relevant public accounting audit experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • CPA certification or ability to obtain one
  • Intermediate knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
  • Ability to travel to client locations, including occasional overnight stays
  • Experience with planning audits and preparing financials for governmental and nonprofit clients
