Job Overview

Navion Senior Solutions is in search of a dedicated Engagement Specialist to enhance our organizational culture and promote a thriving work atmosphere. This pivotal role is focused on developing and executing initiatives aimed at improving recruitment, retention, and overall team engagement within our senior living facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the organization’s objectives while embodying and promoting the company’s Culture, Core Values, and Mission.
  • Foster positive relationships with applicants, candidates, supervisors, and team members through effective time management and communication.
  • Participate in relevant training sessions and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Accurately manage and document candidate and team member information.
  • Adhere to the community dress code while representing the organization on-site.
  • Travel frequently to various communities and events to support recruitment efforts and represent the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures in all tasks.
  • Uphold residents' rights, supporting their autonomy and dignity while adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Implement safety measures in all community activities.
  • Recruitment Initiatives: Collaborate with community leaders to design and execute innovative strategies to attract top talent.
  • Employee Engagement Programs: Create and manage initiatives that enhance team morale and workplace satisfaction, tracking their effectiveness.
  • Retention Strategies: Work with community leaders to develop approaches that minimize turnover and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Facilitate training programs that align with company values and operational standards.
  • Event Coordination: Organize events that recognize team member contributions and foster team building across multiple locations.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on key metrics related to recruitment, retention, and engagement for senior management review.
  • Communication Liaison: Act as a bridge between corporate leadership and community management to ensure alignment in engagement efforts.
  • Collaborative Initiatives: Partner with community leaders to develop programs that benefit both team members and residents, promoting an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources or a similar role, ideally within the senior living or healthcare sector.
  • Strong knowledge of employee engagement and retention methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in planning and executing events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated region, including potential air travel; must possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
