Audiologist Role Description

We seek an experienced audiologist to lead our audiology team and drive innovation in patient care and research.

About This Opportunity:

This role offers a unique chance to work in a state-of-the-art clinical setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, researchers, and educators. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement new treatments, participate in clinical trials, and mentor junior staff members.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Management: Supervise and mentor audiology staff, coordinating team efforts to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  2. Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and execute individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating evidence-based practices and emerging technologies.
  3. Research and Innovation: Contribute to ongoing research projects, collaborating with faculty and clinicians to advance the field of audiology.
  4. Quality Improvement and Education: Lead quality improvement initiatives, promoting best practices and developing educational programs for patients, families, and professionals.
Education, Licensure, and Certification:
  • Master's degree in Audiology or related field
  • Active licensure as an Audiologist in Maryland or District of Columbia
  • Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • At least 5 years of experience in senior leadership roles or equivalent research experience

Annual Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000.
