Expert Neuro Critical Care Manager

A skilled and experienced Registered Nurse is sought to oversee the quality of care for stroke patients at Prisma Health.
This role involves managing the development and maintenance of a stroke program, collaborating with physicians, and establishing working relationships with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Program Development: Develops, evaluates, and maintains a stroke program that meets American Stroke Association, Brain Attack Coalition, and JCAHO Disease Specific Standards.
- Stroke Alert Response: Responds to Stroke Alert calls from other hospital areas when possible.
- Clinical Expertise: Serves as a clinical expert and resource to patient care services personnel and other health care professionals.
- Patient Education: Promotes and develops personal and professional growth through self and staff development.
- Data Analysis: Facilitates and monitors data from the stroke registry, participating in process improvement and research activities.
- Team Coordination: Coordinates the Stroke Team meetings, evaluating data, and implementing process improvements.
- Bachelor's Degree: Nursing, MSN preferred
- Experience: 3 years - Nursing, experience in Neuro nursing preferred
The estimated salary range for this role is $83,000-$118,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Located in Richland, SC, this position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
