Position Overview

K-1 Speed Inc is seeking a friendly and reliable Customer Service Associate to become a vital part of our dynamic family entertainment venue. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing customer transactions, managing the cash register, and providing exceptional service to all guests. Additionally, you will assist with order taking, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests upon entry and efficiently process their orders at the cash register.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
  • Keep detailed records of all cash transactions and perform daily reconciliations of the cash register.
  • Take orders, prepare food items, and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including stocking supplies and cleaning surfaces.
  • Effectively coordinate race activities.
  • Promote menu offerings and specials to enhance sales.
  • Offer and sell race packages to customers, with potential for commissions.
  • Assist with other assigned duties as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience in cash handling or customer service is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must obtain a Food Handlers Certificate and Alcohol Handlers Card after hiring.
  • Experience with cash handling is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are required.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
