We are a leading provider of residential treatment programs for individuals struggling with eating disorders and mental health issues. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, and we are seeking a highly skilled Recovery Coach to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Recovery Coach will play a key role in supporting our clients through their recovery journey, providing guidance and intervention consistent with their treatment plan. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in mental health and the eating disorder field, working with a dynamic and compassionate team.
Key Responsibilities- Integrate and support clients through their recovery journey, providing a safe and supportive environment.
- Provide support and intervention consistent with the client's treatment plan, promoting healthy behaviors and relationships.
- Engage clients in developing healthy connections with other clients and team members, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Assist with food preparation and setup, modeling and supervising client meals and snacks to promote healthy eating habits.
- Participate in therapeutic groups and develop core skills to promote clinical growth and development.
- Conduct rounds and provide observations to ensure client safety and well-being.
- Occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities, providing transportation and support as needed.
- At least 2 years post-high school education; Bachelor's in Psychology preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired (and required in some states).
- Valid state-issued Driver's License with a safe driving history.
- Excellent communication and client relations skills, with a service-oriented approach and flexibility to work as part of a team.
