About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to enhance our vibrant legal team.

This is a permanent role that offers the chance to thrive in a dynamic setting where you will oversee a variety of commercial real estate issues.

The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of commercial law, real estate transactions, and Mergers & Acquisitions, with proficiency in Spanish being essential.

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal field, particularly focusing on Florida's legal framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer legal advice and support on various commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, and development.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a range of real estate contracts and documents such as purchase agreements, lease contracts, and financing documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide counsel on various legal matters pertaining to commercial real estate.
  • Assist in Mergers & Acquisitions processes, including due diligence, negotiation, and documentation.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel, real estate agents, and other business associates.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide training to the organization on pertinent legal matters, risks, and policies.
  • Engage in special projects and undertake additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney.
  • Fluency in Spanish is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida real estate law and commercial business regulations.
  • Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions.
  • Excellent legal research capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
