Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer legal advice and support on various commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, and development.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a variety of real estate contracts and documents such as purchase agreements, lease contracts, and financing documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide insights on diverse legal matters related to commercial real estate.
  • Assist in Mergers & Acquisitions processes, including due diligence, negotiations, and documentation.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel, real estate agents, and other business stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Provide training on pertinent legal issues, risks, and company policies.
  • Engage in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney.
  • Fluency in Spanish is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Florida real estate and commercial business law.
  • Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions.
  • Exceptional legal research capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
