Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer III to join our team at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration.
  • Parts inventory and requisition experience.
  • Exterior and interior surface preparation and painting experience.
