Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
  • Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including HVAC systems and plumbing fixtures.
  • Assist with inventory management and requisitioning of parts and supplies as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance, with a focus on electrical or refrigeration systems.
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and tools, with a maximum weight of 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Extensive experience with general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration systems.
  • Knowledge of energy management systems and practices.
