Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer III to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in maintenance, electrical, and refrigeration. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, and visually inspecting tools and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including pumps, motors, and electrical systems.
  • Identify and locate shut-off valves for equipment and maintain maintenance inventory.
  • Communicate with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Display advanced knowledge of engineering computer programs and perform advanced troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Train and mentor other engineers as necessary and perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration, and parts inventory and requisition.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
  • Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Related work experience in carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building management.
