Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Co-op

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Co-op to join our team at KFI Engineers. As a Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills in mechanical engineering.

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineering Co-op will assist in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment. This role will involve working closely with our engineering team to perform engineering tasks, provide input and technical expertise, and collaborate with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform engineering calculations and design mechanical systems and equipment
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules and reports
  • Participate in meetings and provide analysis, input, and recommendations
  • Conduct site visits to gather field information and perform testing
  • Develop and maintain engineering calculation tools and documents
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in engineering design software and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing work demands and priorities
