We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer III to join our team at KFI Engineers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for commercial and institutional projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
  • Prepare engineering documents and equipment specifications to meet contracted scope of work.
  • Work with other disciplines to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop budgets for assigned scope of work and ensure project stays within scope.
  • May serve as project manager for complete projects, overseeing a project team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Mechanical Professional Engineering license.
  • At least 7 years of engineering experience.
  • Knowledge in both Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Competency in psychometrics and pumps/fan laws.
  • Experience in HVAC, plumbing systems, selections and optimization.
  • Effective communication, influencing, and meeting management skills.
