Marine Machinery Technician

We are seeking a skilled Marine Machinery Mechanic to join our team at Commander, Navy Installations. As a Marine Machinery Mechanic, you will be responsible for reviewing technical work documents, operating power equipment, and determining materials or parts required for marine machinery repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Review technical work documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Operate power equipment for maintenance of shipboard machinery or components
- Determine materials or parts required for repairs
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required, you must demonstrate the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position.
The selection of an annuitant is subject to the Department of Defense and Department of the Navy policy on the employment of annuitants.
Certain incentives, such as relocation or student loan repayment, may be authorized to eligible selectees.
