Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components for our products.
Key Responsibilities- Apply sound mechanical engineering principles to solve complex system problems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports
- Collaborate with cross-discipline teams, including electrical engineering, systems engineering, and manufacturing engineering
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on design trade-offs
- Develop and implement test plans and procedures to ensure product quality and reliability
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, or advanced degree and 3 years of experience
- Experience with mechanical design software, such as Pro/Engineer or CREO
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including gears, bearings, and motors
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
