Job Title: Senior RF Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our RF Mechanical Team, you will be responsible for providing innovative design solutions for the packaging of antennas, RF Circuit Card Assemblies, radomes, and RF test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead diverse multidiscipline teams to develop and implement RF mechanical design solutions.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish technology roadmaps and enable modernization.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
  • Conduct failure investigations and root cause analysis to identify and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master of Science (MS) in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
  • Experience serving as a Responsible Engineering Authority (REA), Control Account Manager (CAM), and/or Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL).
  • Supplier management for built to print or build to specification RF products.

This role is a U.S.-based role, and if the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
