Role Summary:

The primary duties of this position encompass a variety of tasks related to financial documentation and claims management. The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating a compilation of claims to ascertain the necessity for medical reimbursement submissions.
  • Investigating the claims management system to establish the appropriate reimbursement figures.
  • Extracting and compiling data from multiple platforms to generate reimbursement documentation in PDF format.
  • Updating and annotating records within the claims management system and other relevant databases.
  • Assessing records in the claims system for any discrepancies or overpayments.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in medical billing or claims processing is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail are crucial for document review.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Reader for PDF creation is required.
  • A minimum of 24 undergraduate or graduate semester credit hours in accounting or auditing, along with at least two years of experience in accounting or finance, is mandatory.

This role is newly established, and comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.
