Job Title: Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant

The Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients' businesses. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills to ensure seamless financial recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record financial transactions and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax filings, reports, and returns.
  • Reconcile bank statements and post transactions in QuickBooks.
  • Prepare annual Form 1099 for multiple clients and quarterly/annual payroll filings (941s/W-2s).
  • Work closely with clients to develop relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Perform data entry and reconciliation of client daily activity in QuickBooks.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field or an accounting certificate.
  • Experience working in accounts payable and/or receivable, general ledger, payroll, and/or payroll reports.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
