Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Lincoln Electric. As a key member of our Plant Engineering department, you will play a critical role in the development, testing, and validation of projects aimed at improving the safety and environment, quality, and profitability of our Machine Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement new processes, equipment, and improvements to our production facilities.
  • Develop and implement effective EHS strategies to enhance the working environment.
  • Ensure the safe, high-quality, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible manufacturing of our welding equipment.
  • Manage small to medium-sized capital projects and production support projects with some supervision.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of five or more years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to read and troubleshoot pneumatic diagrams.
  • Capable of fabricating and installing components using power tools.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with good judgment, self-motivation, and a strong focus on safety.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to handle a variety of assignments and changing priorities.
  • Good computer skills, with experience in 3D CAD a plus.
  • Good decision-making ability, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to perform hands-on work as required, with the ability to occasionally work off shifts.
