Job Overview

Metro Industrial Services is seeking skilled Automated Welding Technicians for a prominent manufacturing firm. This role is a temporary/contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate robotic and automatic MIG welding machinery.
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as changing welding wire and torch tips.
  • Assist in logistics by delivering parts when necessary.
  • Load components onto machinery for processing.
  • Conduct cleaning, minor repairs, sorting, reworking, and packing of parts.
  • Engage in quality assurance activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize forklifts and other material handling equipment as required.
Compensation

Hourly Rate: $18.75

Work Schedule

Shifts available:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Candidate Requirements
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Adhere to PPE guidelines when necessary.
