Position Overview:
As an Event Coordination Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing Guest Services at our Conference Center. Your leadership will guide a team of coordinators and receptionists, ensuring that all guest needs are met with the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Customer Liaison:** Act as the primary point of contact between the Conference Center and clients, ensuring clear communication of their needs.
2. **Collaboration:** Work closely with the Sales Training Department to coordinate training sessions and meetings, ensuring all arrangements are made effectively.
3. **Service Orders:** Prepare and manage group service orders utilizing room reservation software.
4. **Room Setup Coordination:** Collaborate with the Audio Visual & Conference Services Departments to ensure room configurations and technical requirements are met.
5. **Food & Beverage Oversight:** Partner with the Food & Beverage Department to maintain menu quality and gather customer feedback.
6. **Operational Analysis:** Assist the General Manager in evaluating the Training Center's operations and reporting on areas needing improvement.
7. **Quarterly Reporting:** Help in the preparation of quarterly Operational Review reports, including data compilation and presentation materials.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but relevant experience in conference services may be considered.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a hotel or conference center setting.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- A proactive approach to anticipating business needs.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and exceptional customer service.
